Since 2020, my annual trip with my husband has been to the world of Pearl Morissette. Tucked away in the quaint town of Jordan Station, you’ll nearly miss the entrance if you aren't looking for the large red bird statue along the country road. After passing ducks and livestock, you arrive at a simple structure that houses an unmatched level of craftsmanship and art.
Every course here tells a story of Canadian-made ingredients like the time they added made use of a single rare bag of rice from BC so every guest could experience it. Their creativity is so effortless that when they adapted a dish for my allergies, the result was even better than the original. Between the hyper-local dining, the onsite winery, and the RPM Bakehouse, it’s an experience in flavor and service that feels entirely in a league of its own.
